External Recognition / Participation in Initiatives

We are selected as a constituent of the FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index.
*FTSE Russell confirms that PENTA-OCEAN CONSTRUCTION CO., LTD. has been independently assessed according to the index criteria, and has satisfied the requirements to become a constituent of the FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index. The FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index is used by a wide variety of market participants to create and assess responsible investment funds and other products.

We are selected by CDP, a global environmental non-profit organization, as a highest-rated "A-List" company in the climate change category.

In July 2023, we received the second level of Eruboshi certification, which is recognized by the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare for companies that make excellent efforts to promote the active participation of women.

We signed a statement of support for the United Nations Global Compact proposed by the United Nations, and have been registered as a participating company as of December 21, 2022.

We expressed support for the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). We are also a member of the TCFD Consortium, a forum for discussion among supporting companies and financial institutions.

Our CO₂ emission reduction targets are consistent with scientific findings, and we are participating in the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), which has certified the "1.5°C level" (December 2022)

We registered as a "Minato SDGs Partner" under the "Minato SDGs Partner Registration System" established by the Ports and Harbors Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. (September 2022)
