First Inclusive Construction Site Tour
Tokyo, Japan - January 14, 2026 - On December 12, 2025, Penta-Ocean Construction Co. Ltd. organized an inaugural construction site tour designed specifically for our employees with disabilities at a residential high rise project site in Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
The site tour provided a firsthand look at our construction operations for our disabled employees, whose roles in the administrative and on-site support duties are essential to our daily operations. This initiative is intended to help them recognize the value of their contributions to the company, enhance both motivation and a deeper sense of engagement with their work.
On the day of the tour, in alignment with our DE&I promotion policy, we delivered a lecture on our commitment to providing support tailored to individual needs, ensuring equitable opportunities, and fostering work-life balance. We then introduced examples showcasing our efforts to create inclusive workplaces, such as promotion of efficient construction management using ICT and the activities of the “Kensetsu Komachi Construction Team,” composed entirely of female engineers.
The subsequent site tour offered participants a close-up glimpse into the rigorous safety and quality control protocols in place. They toured the site in sequence, starting from the uppermost 58th floor where interior construction was underway, descending through lower floors in the finishing stages of interior work, and concluding with the visit to the commercial facility levels.
Going forward, we are committed to securing and nurturing diverse human resources and promoting DE&I initiatives to encourage all individuals to thrive and reach their full potential.
