Wind Power Plant

The development of alternative energy is a high priority in the race to stop global warming. Wind power generation has attracted great attention as a viable alternative energy source, partly because generating costs have been lowered owing to advances in technology in recent years and because there is much room for future development of this power source.

Penta-Ocean is developing its wind-power generation construction business, which will encompass power generation at sea and along coastlines, in addition to expanding wind generation facilities on land. Wind-power generation facilities are being built at sea in order to take advantage of the higher generating efficiency found there. In order to determine the best location for windmill fields, Penta-Ocean computes available power energy and wind velocity distribution at arbitrary points by applying wind condition simulation data with various other kinds of data.
