An Era of New Challenge Begins!
The path we walked will create our own destinyFounded in 1896 as Mizuno-gumi in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture, Penta-Ocean Construction has expanded its business areas from initial marine civil engineering to land civil engineering and building construction. Overseas, starting with the Suez Canal Expansion Project in 1961, Penta-Ocean Construction has been involved in many milestone projects, mostly based in Singapore, since the company’s first entry to the market in 1964.
Penta-Ocean Museum was established to commemorate the 125th founding anniversary of the company as a communication hub for discovering the "history of challenges by practicing the pioneering spirit" and "new challenges towards the future".
The museum exhibition areas depict three major themes of “History of Challenges”, “Global” and “Creation of Technologies” .
The visitors are navigated through the trajectory of POC’s past events and are encouraged to experience first-hand the future that the company strives for.

This zone exhibits the cutter head of a dredger used for the Suez Canal Expansion Project, which spearheaded our global expansion. It perfectly embodies the "Pioneering Spirit", which is our corporate DNA.

- By the Shinkansen
- Take the Tohoku Shinkansen to Nasushiobara station, then take a taxi from the station(approximately 20-minute journey)
- By public transportation other than the Shinkansen
- Take the JR Tohoku Honsen Line (also known as the JR Utsunomiya Line) to Nishinasuno Station, then take a bus or a taxi
