Super-NDR (Neo-Dry Repair) Method
Super-NDR (Neo-Dry Repair) Method

The Super-NDR method was developed to accommodate reinforcing of existing underwater pile founded structures. The structure is enclosed using temporary cofferdams constructed using the NDR method, in which micro-piles are driven into the river or sea bed and at the top connected with its footing using reinforcement concrete. This process permanently incorporates the piles into the existing structure and increases its bearing capacity.
Improving efficiency
The Super-NDR method improves working efficiency by creating a dry working environment for repair work on marine structure. Since the steel temporary caissons can be transported and floated into place, construction can be conducted even with the limited overhead clearance underneath bridges. Micro-piles driven by the small piling machine are highly reliable and can ensure repaired structures meet required capacity limits.
Shortening the construction period
Since each of the temporary steel caissons is produced off-site, working periods can be shortened substantially.
Repurposing temporary steel caissons
Cost savings can be achieved by recycling the temporary steel caissons to accommodate similar structural shapes and sizes.
