Infrared Thermograph System for RC Structures Using Induction Heating (IH) Method
Infrared thermograph system is normally difficult to apply to RC structures, especially parts of which are not exposed to sunlight, because temperature variation of those parts is not significant enough to detect internal defects. Penta-Ocean has developed a non-invasive diagnosis system in which reinforcements are heated and temperature changes in the concrete surfaces are measured, in order to detect internal defects that could compromise the integrity of important structures and facilities.
Using induction heating method
Internal defects can be detected without disturbing the facilities.
Impervious to weather conditions
This system is perfectly applicable under no-sunlight conditions.
High accuracy for detecting defects
Defects located at 50 mm beneath concrete surfaces can be detected with sufficient accuracy.
