Penta Claus® (Chimney Decontaminate Robot)
Penta Claus® (Chimney Decontaminate Robot)

The Japanese government has recently enacted stricter laws requiring dramatic reduction in the amount of dioxins produced by waste incineration facilities, requiring reconstruction of many facilities. Exposure to workers engaged in the demolition of existing facilities has become a serious concern, demanding safer reconstruction methods. In order to accommodate this important need, Penta-Ocean has developed a chimney decontamination robot, called the Penta Claus®.
Remotely controlled execution
Remotely controlled cutting and removal of debris from the inner surfaces of RC chimneys is now possible.
Multi-functionality
The Penta Claus® is capable of performing various tasks, including crushing firebricks, removing debris from the inner surface of chimneys, and spraying water, and is equipped with a video camera monitoring system.
Efficient versatility for various types of chimneys
The unit’s flexible arms can accommodate various types and sizes of chimneys, including those made of steel or reinforced concrete.
